The other dental treatments at Asensio Dental Clinic encompass a range of dental specialties that go beyond implants and orthodontics: periodontics, fixed and removable prostheses, rotary endodontics, conservative dentistry, conscious sedation, snoring and apnea treatment, and hygiene and halitosis programs.
Many patients come to the clinic for a specific problem — a painful tooth, bleeding gums, or snoring that disrupts the entire family’s sleep — without knowing that a specific dental solution exists for their case. A correct diagnosis and appropriate treatment can radically change their quality of life.
At Asensio Dental Clinic, Dr. Lucía Asensio Romero (Registration No. 46002287) coordinates a multidisciplinary team of specialists covering all these areas with state-of-the-art technology. The first visit is completely free and includes a full clinical examination, digital orthopantomography, and an intraoral scan.

Periodontics is the specialty that diagnoses and treats diseases of the gums and the bone supporting the teeth. Periodontal disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults and affects 40% of the population, often without them knowing it, as it is painless in its early stages. Timely periodontal treatment prevents tooth loss and eliminates the focus of infection that periodontal bacteria can send into the bloodstream.
Fixed prostheses — crowns and bridges on teeth or implants — are the permanent solution for replacing missing teeth without the need to remove and replace anything daily. Removable prostheses — acrylic or metal — are the alternative for cases where fixed prostheses are not possible or indicated. The choice of prosthesis depends on the number of missing teeth, the condition of the bone, and the patient’s preferences.
Rotary endodontics is the treatment that allows for the saving of a tooth whose pulp is infected or necrotic, removing the infection from inside the root canal and sealing it to prevent further infections. At our clinic, we perform this using a ZEISS microscope and FOX III laser, with a 99% success rate.
Conservative dentistry brings together all the techniques to restore damaged teeth while preserving as much healthy dental tissue as possible: composite fillings, ceramic inlays, and minimally invasive treatments that avoid the need for root canals or extractions.
Conscious sedation with nitrous oxide allows patients to receive any dental treatment in a state of deep relaxation without losing consciousness, ideal for patients with dental phobia or for long treatments. Snoring and sleep apnea treatment through custom mandibular advancement splints is an effective dental solution that improves the sleep quality of both the patient and their partner without the need for surgery or CPAP machines.
Our nutrition, hygiene, and halitosis program helps patients control bad breath from its origin — periodontal, lingual, or dietary — and establish a correct oral hygiene routine that prevents cavities and periodontal disease in the long term.
Holistic dentistry completes our integrative vision of oral health, treating each patient as a whole — not just the affected tooth — with biocompatible materials, safe amalgam removal protocols, and care that incorporates emotional and systemic dimensions into every diagnosis.
What does the first free visit include?
At Asensio Dental Clinic, the first visit is completely free* and without obligation. During the consultation, the specialist performs a complete clinical examination of the entire oral cavity, obtains a digital orthopantomography, and a 3D intraoral scan that allows for a precise diagnosis of the state of the teeth, gums, bone, and joints. Based on this diagnosis, a personalized treatment plan is developed with all costs detailed, with no surprises.
This visit is especially useful for patients who haven’t been to the dentist in a while and don’t know their current oral situation, or for those seeking a second opinion before deciding on a major treatment. No pressure, no obligation, just all the information.
*Does not include pediatric dentistry, oral medicine, holistic dentistry, or TMJ
Frequently asked questions about our treatments
What is the difference between endodontics and rotary endodontics?
Rotary endodontics is a type of root canal treatment that uses nickel-titanium files driven by an electric motor instead of manual files. It allows for cleaning the root canals with greater precision, in less time, and with a lower risk of instrument fracture. At Asensio Dental Clinic, we combine it with a ZEISS microscope and FOX III laser to maximize the success rate.
Is periodontal disease curable?
Periodontitis is not curable in the sense that lost bone does not spontaneously regenerate, but there is effective treatment that stops the progression of the disease and stabilizes the situation. With proper periodontal treatment and correct maintenance, affected teeth can be preserved for many years.
Is conscious sedation safe?
Yes. Nitrous oxide has been used in dentistry for decades with an excellent safety record. It does not cause loss of consciousness, the patient can communicate at all times, and the effect disappears within minutes of removing the mask. In our clinic, it is administered under the direct supervision of our anesthesiologist using the Masterflux Plus system.
Does dental snoring treatment work?
Custom mandibular advancement splints are effective in most cases of primary snoring and mild-to-moderate obstructive apnea. They work by advancing the jaw during sleep to keep the airway open. Their effectiveness is comparable to CPAP in moderate apneas, with the advantage of being much more comfortable and silent.
