At Clínica Dental Asensio we have the PROMAX 3D system by PLANMECA because it is the dental scanner with the highest precision and quality on the market, both in digital images and high-quality printouts. It is an intelligent and multipurpose X-ray unit that provides panoramic, cephalometric and 3D dental images (C.B.C.T.), as well as 3D photographs of the patient’s face.
It offers major advantages over radiology and conventional CT scans:
1.- Low radiation dose. The effective dose is similar to that of a conventional panoramic X-ray and up to 90% lower than a conventional CT scan.
2.- Comfortable position for the patient: the test is carried out with the patient comfortably seated or standing, in a non-claustrophobic environment.
3.- Speed of execution: the images are obtained in 15 seconds.
4.- Quality and compatibility of the processed images: the images obtained are compatible with the most important software programs for guided surgery planning.

This technology reduces patients’ recovery time. It is a minimally invasive surgical technique that minimises discomfort to the greatest extent possible. In addition, there is no need for the unpleasant drill sounds during procedures.

At Clínica Dental Asensio we want the best for you, which is why we have invested in the latest technology by incorporating the 3M™ True Definition Scanner digital intraoral scanner into our clinic.
It allows the dentist to take digital impressions in “moving 3D”, and it is the only system on the market capable of capturing video images. It creates a highly advanced and durable stereolithography (SLA) model that enables the dentist to:
1.- Prescribe a traditional or CAD/CAM restoration for the laboratory to manufacture.
2.- Improve patient comfort thanks to its speed and, of course, image quality, since impressions taken with the 3M™ True Definition Scanner have enabled thousands of restorations with a clinically proven fit rate of 99.7%.
3.- Provide precision for in-clinic milling systems: in orthodontics it records the patient’s bite completely, capturing every detail as the orthodontist passes the scanner over the teeth.
4.- Create the perfect impression in implantology for the most difficult cases: large bridges, multiple-unit restorations and full-arch restorations, where the margin for error is minimal.
These restorations, with such a precise level of fit, avoid the need for new impressions, retouching and adjustments, which ultimately means less chair time and fewer visits.

Although we have other alternatives, we offer our patients conscious sedation for those who prefer it. It is especially indicated for patients who suffer from anxiety.
We have an Italian technology device that offers high precision and reliability in the sedation process. By leaving no margin for error, it prevents any negative effect on the patient. Oxygen is always present at 30%, avoiding the dangers of hypoxia and anoxia.
